Anne Hatløy er forsker I i gruppen for globale studier på Fafo. I tillegg er hun førsteamanuensis ved Senter for Internasjonal Helse ved Universitetet i Bergen.
Hatløy har 30 års erfaring med å lede og gjennomføre kvantitative og kvalitative forskningsprosjekter i lavinntektsland (særlig i Vest Afrika, DR Kongo, Eritrea, Uganda og Haiti).
Hun har sin bakgrunn i mat- og ernæringssikkerhet, men jobber også med ulike aspekter barns forhold og levekår. Hun har lang erfaring med forskningssamarbeid med institusjoner i lavinntektsland.
