Report on new age limits and arrangements for senior workers

I 2015 ble aldersgrensen for stillingsvern hevet fra 70 til 72 år i arbeidsmiljøloven. Den bedriftsinterne aldersgrensen ble samtidig satt til minimum 70 år. I denne rapporten vises det hvordan virksomhetene har tilpasset seg de nye reglene. Bruken og virkningene av særordningene for seniorene i arbeidslivet, for eksempel ekstra ferieuke, diskuteres også. The age limit for employment protection in the Work Environment Act increased from 70 to 72 years in 2015. At the same time, the internal age limit within companies was also set at a minimum of 70 years. This report shows how companies have adapted to the new regulations. Further, the use and effects of specific workplace arrangements for seniors, such as the additional vacation week and the right to reduced working hours, is also discussed.
