Different countries draw different lines for when and how to regulate expressions of religious norms and practices. Norwegian politicians have mainly chosen to be careful and constrained when it comes to introducing restrictions within this field – at least until the conflict level reaches certain levels, according to the ph.d. thesis of Ragna Lillevik.
