Based on interviews with 44,000 households in 11 provinces it provides information on topics such as health, population, environment, education, household economy, labour market, housing and infrastructure.
The atlas is a product of the project “Monitoring Economic and Soical Development in the Western Provinces of China”, which also includes a comprehensive tabulation report and an analytical report.
