Collaborative design phase processes in Kruse Smith
Kruse Smith is using BIM - building information modeling in the design phase of the construction project “Hotel Clarion Air Stavanger”. In this project, participants will have regular meeting in a project workshop. The aim of the workshop is that closer interdisciplinary collaboration will lead to a more efficient design phase, a more feasible construction solution, improved quality of the final product and a better building process. The main purpose of the research project is to document the interdisciplinary collaborative process, to raise and discuss issues, and to reflect on the findings together with project participants. In addition, Fafo will facilitate forums for sharing and dissemination of knowledge and experience to other projects. e.g in a series of research workshops.
