This report examines the student membership of The Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO), which currently comprises around 11 000 student members. In this study we look at how students regard their membership in LO: Why did they become members? What are they satisfied with, and what would they want to be better? Do they make use of the rights and benefits following the membership? LO’s aim is to be able to make membership more attractive to its student members and also to reach more students. The survey is based on qualitative interviews among student members in five of the LO unions and on interviews among unorganised students.
