Assessment of 20 years of Norwegian on-budget support to the Nepali school sector
The study is commissioned by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) to evaluate Norway's 20 years of on-budget support to Nepal's school sector. Its primary objective is to assess Norway's impact, identify challenges, and provide forward-looking recommendations for future engagement in Nepal's education sector.
The study aims to determine the effectiveness of on-budget sector support and its alignment with Nepal's evolving educational priorities. The findings will inform Norway's development cooperation planning, with the study yielding a comprehensive report and a PowerPoint presentation for dissemination. A local consultant will collaborate with Fafo in data collection, facilitating meetings, and offering contextual expertise.
The study spans 40 days of work, including a field visit, and is integral to shaping Norway's future involvement in Nepal's education sector.
