Study of extended serving hours – FIFA World Cup summer 2026

The pilot study documents the situation at and around licensed premises in Oslo showing football matches during the World Cup summer 2026.

Through observation, field conversations and qualitative interviews with bartenders, security staff and police, we map intoxication levels, working conditions and the framework for responsible alcohol service during a period of extended serving hours.
