The project is about the quality of apprenticeship training in Norway in different parts of the labour market, with different traditions for vocational education and training.
Vocational education and training is becoming increasingly popular in Norway. There is a persistent high demand for skilled workers, and an increasing proportion of youths apply for vocational programmes in upper secondary education.
Quality of training has received comparatively less attention. The research project will add to our knowledge of quality of VET by analysing learning conditions in different parts of the labour market, with different contextual conditions for providing high-quality training.
